Knowledge pack for Melbourne Museum
Inspired by the Forest Secrets exhibition - Tree of Life knowledge pack is based on dominant Mountain Ash trees and their importance on sustaining the life of our forests and climate throughout Victoria. The pack is aimed towards secondary school children and their teachers, who are studying the stages of trees, their rings and the lifecycle of the forest.
Each component is heavily tactile and interactive which is vital in assisting the learning process and engagement of content. Critical thinking in the appropriate communication design solution, was considered to enhance the learning experience. The understanding and experimentation of different binding, cutting and construction methods were
explored which enhanced visual narrative.
